Jacks Creek cuts a gorge through the mountain range, exposing amazing rock faces and formations. Be sure to bring your camera, as the photography opportunities are endless.
Enjoy a picnic under the trees, cook up a storm on the barbecue, or simply unwind to the soothing sounds of nature. In spring, the surrounding woodlands will be dotted with wildflowers. You’ll see tiny pink and purple orchids, as well as blue lilies and paper daisies.
You won’t have to wander far from the picnic area to take in the beautiful scenery Cocoparra National Park has to offer, but if you’d like to venture out and explore, you can always go on a leisurely walk on Jacks Creek walking track, with fantastic lookouts and views along the way.
