Snowies Alpine Walk takes hikers to the summit of Australia's highest mountain, through glacier-carved landscapes, twisted snow gum woodlands, and wildflower meadows. You’ll be able to tackle this multi-day walk on a guided tour or self-guided.
The walk extends existing tracks in Kosciuszko National Park's Thredbo-Perisher area to link alpine villages at Guthega, Charlotte Pass and Perisher Valley finishing in Thredbo Valley near Lake Crackenback.
Snowies Alpine Walk will be closed until summer. A detailed visitation guide, maps, tours and track notes will be available when the walk opens.
