The fire trail from Pennant Hills Park to West Pymble winds its way through the eucalypt forest of Lane Cove National Park. It’s a picturesque route, with plenty of variety, including some technical parts and steep areas that are good for hill climb training.

There are lots of scenic spots along the way where you can enjoy a picnic lunch, including by Devlins Creek and at Whale Rock. You can complete part of the ride if you feel like a shorter trip, or tackle the return leg for a longer day on the bike. You can also head back via the Comenarra Parkway.
