For an unforgettable wedding destination on the NSW North Coast, you can’t go past Broken Head lawn, just a short drive from Byron Bay. Hold your ceremony on the grass in this natural paradise where coastal rainforest meets the beach.
Enjoy champagne and canapes at one of the sheltered picnic tables as you listen to the sounds of rolling surf and birdsong. After your ceremony, your guests can take a stroll down Broken Head Beach to feel the sand between their toes.
If you’d like to explore further afield, it’s only a short walk to the famous Tallow Beach where you and your guests can admire the views to Cape Byron Lighthouse. Or take the half-hour walk to Three Sisters lookout where you’ll be treated to incredible vistas of secluded beaches, rocky coves and dense rainforest.
As you wander along the beaches and in the rainforest, you’re likely to meet locals like brush turkeys in the understorey. And if you visit in winter and spring, you may be lucky enough to spot whales as they migrate north.
