Closed Area: Shaft Track, Glenrock State Conservation Area.
The Shaft Track will be closed while improvements and maintenance works are being carry out.
- The track will be closed from 21st August 2024 for up to end of November 2024, dependent on weather

Safety alerts: Hunter Wetlands National Park (Tomago Precinct) closure for deer control shooting operation
Parts of Hunter Wetlands National Park will be closed within a date range of 0630 (6:30am) Monday 5th August 2024 to 2300pm Monday 30th June 2025 for deer control shoot operations preventing localised economic impacts and protecting biodiversity assests within the park.
When active the shoot operation area will be delignated by signage advising visitors “do not enter” at any time during the nighttime operation.

Closed areas: De Luge Mountain Bike Track Closure
De Luge Mountain bike track will be closed until the 22nd December to enable the:
- Construction of a new carpark off Scout Camp Road to service the Yuelarbah Track and wider Glenrock mountain bike track network;
- Construction of a bus turn around facility in front of the existing Glenrock Works Depot (with associated bus staging area on Scout Camp Road);
- Minor improvements to the Scout Camp Road and Burwood Road intersection (in consultation with LMCC); and
- Upgrades to the Glenrock works depot yard
Measures will be in place during this time to limit disruption to park users as much as possible.

Construction of the Magenta Shared Walkway on behalf of Central Coast Council is being undertaken adjacent to Wilfred Barret Drive, Magenta. These works are not within Wyrrabalong National Park and no clearing of Park Estate is planned to occur as part of these works. National Parks and Wildlife would encourage park visitors to follow any safety signage installed as part of these works. Beach driving conditions remain variable due to changing swell, tides and weather conditions. Drivers are advised to exercise caution when driving and to check conditions before travel.
Please remember to:
- Look out for soft sand, erosion, wash outs and drop-offs.
- Avoid driving through sea water, foam or large pools of water. Driving conditions can change rapidly. Several vehicles on this beach have ended up in the ocean or swamped by water.
- Check conditions before arriving, and if in doubt save your visit for another day.
Please follow the directions of National Parks and Wildlife Service personnel and/or signage. Do not drive over the frontal dune or any vegetation.
